Definitions and General Terms
The words 'HYA', 'Hendon Youth Academy', also know as 'Helping You Achieve' 'we', 'us', 'our', and 'ours' refer to HYA, a football coaching company. The words 'client', 'customer', 'children', 'parents', and 'adults' refer to the party who engaged and/or financed the services and any person or organisation acting on their behalf. "Service" refers to the football coaching, recruitment, training, and other related services provided by HYA. "Coach" refers to the staff employed by HYA to conduct the sessions. "Participant" means any child or adult who takes part in the sessions. "Session" refers to any specific instance of the services provided, including but not limited to training programmes, camps, and tournaments.
These terms and conditions apply to all football coaching services, training sessions, and associated activities provided by HYA, including any related products and services. It is mutually agreed between HYA and all parties that the following terms and conditions form an integral part of all engagements, and that no variation or modification shall be effective unless accepted by HYA in writing.
1. Introduction
HYA, a company incorporated under Company No. 11838823, is located in London. HYA specialises in providing football coaching services aimed at promoting healthy and active lifestyles amongst our customers. The company is committed to community engagement, offering various products and services related to football coaching. 2. Services Provided
HYA offers a comprehensive suite of football coaching services aimed at fostering a love for the game while promoting healthy, active lifestyles. Our services cater to various skill levels and age groups through structured programmes, leagues, and bespoke sessions. Additionally, we provide development pathways for both players and coaches, backed by online and in-person training events. Community outreach and inclusivity are at the heart of our mission, with workshops and interactive platforms designed to support continuous development.
3. Registration and Payment
Participants can sign up for sessions through our online registration, booking, and payment systems. Fees must be paid immediately upon checkout. Late payments will incur additional charges and penalties.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
We operate a no refund/credit policy for non-attendance. No cancellation fees or notice periods are required. In the rare event of a session cancellation (e.g., due to adverse weather conditions), a credit will be allocated and must be used within that particular block (5 or 6 week block period).
5. Health and Safety
All participants must disclose any medical conditions. HYA is not liable for injuries during sessions; necessary medical treatment will be authorised in the event of an accident or illness. Participants must have appropriate equipment, including shin pads and suitable footwear. By participating, parents/carers consent to the medical treatment of their child if necessary. Parents/guardians must inform HYA staff prior to the session if an alternative person will be collecting their child. Under no circumstances will HYA staff dismiss a child without receiving this information and consent. Any unknown individuals attempting to collect a child will be immediately stopped and challenged. HYA staff have the authority to verify their identity and obtain parental consent before allowing the child to be dismissed.
6. Code of Conduct
Participants and coaches are expected to adhere to behavioural standards. Non-adherence will result in suspension or withdrawal from HYA activities.
7. Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their own belongings, including phones and money. HYA is not responsible for any lost or broken items. Mobile phones should be used responsibly and not for social media.
8. Data Protection and Privacy
HYA collects, uses, and protects personal data in accordance with GDPR and HYA's data protection policy. Consent is requested on registration for the use of personal data and images. Images may be used for promotional or training purposes, in compliance with FA guidelines.
9. Limitation of Liability
Participants must inform HYA of any changes to registration details. By participating, carers consent to necessary medical treatment for their child and will not hold HYA responsible for personal loss or injury where reasonable steps have been taken to safeguard all participants.
10. Amendments to Terms
HYA reserves the right to update these terms and conditions periodically. Participants will be notified of changes.
